IWEP sponsors CASS Forum 2018, on the theme of Ten Years after the Global Financial Crisis: Lessons and Challenges. Dozens of well-known economists from China and abroad attend the Forum, including Lord Adair Turner of Ecchinswell, Chair of the Institute for New Economic Thinking; Jean Pisani-Ferry, Professor of Economics with Sciences Po Paris and the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin; Brian Schaitkin, Senior Economist in US Macroeconomic Forecasting and Labor Markets at The Conference Board; and Alfred Schipke, IMF Senior Resident Representative for China. Main topics being discussed are the effect of international financial crisis on economic-financial framework, future development of international finance.
